Ali carries over 13 years of experience in communications planning, strategy, and campaign performance in China. He started his career in IP telephony and unified messaging during the dotcom heydays and later transitioned into digital communications. He has spent the last 2 years building out OMD’s digital specialist business unit called Social@OMGfocused on influencer marketing and content distribution.
He has a decade of China experience on FMCG, mobile devices, and consumer luxury. Ali is passionate about converging ideas, content, with influencer media. He has been awarded both international and regional awards for his work in digital media and content.
Ali is a panelist and tutor at Omnicom’s annual “Digital:Works” training workshop at FudanUniversity and a contributor of “2016: Beyond the Horizon” an annual forecast on the state of technology and media around the world.
Ali speaks five languages, including Mandarin Chinese.
