At the meantime, mobile devices and mobile Internet technology construct a new dynamic scenario, instead of the statistic scenario before. “Internet +” create a smart life, which totally changes the engagement channel with different scenes, thus, big data enabled omni-scenario marketing has been raised to a significant high level.

With almost 20 years of solid advertising &media experience, John has maintained a lifetime of ambition, innovation and a commitment to his craft. Before joining Tencent, he worked at Jiangsu TV station, 4A agency, and set up his own advertising company.

Joined Tencent in 2007 as General Manager of Channel Department, John was tasked to develop channel sales strategy to monetize the advertising properties within Tencent Online Media group; With his expertise, the advertising revenue grew rapidly from 260 million to over 10 billion; John has established channel department covers over 600 agencies across 4A, local and regional agencies, drive key agencies & clients’ strategy collaboration, and inaugurate and strengthen new channel cooperation model to achieve an all-win result .

John is the first Chinese to have won the Mobius Advertising Awards, New York Festivals Gold Awards, and Cannes Awards along with other global awards.

John holds a master degree from Media School of Westminster University in U.K.
