Maxwell XU

Maxwell started his career in 1999 with Unilever and now is the Head of Media North Asia, taking care of Unilever’s Media responsibility cross the region.

 

Maxwell started his career as Marketing Management Trainee, where he experienced series of jobs cross functions & geography. In 2002, after a very good delivery of the brand he managed, Maxwell decided to taste the external world. In the later journey he spent most of his time with global infant nutrition leader Royal Numico, where he successfully led the new brand launch in China, followed by setting weaning portfolio strategy & deliver global re-launch when he worked at global team based in Netherland.

 

After that, he decided to return to China and later rejoined Unilever at end of 2009 to lead haircare category. Under his leadership the business enjoyed tremendous growth, as well as achieving numerous top global & national marketing recognition including Cannes Lion, Effies and FAMEs for innovative campaigns he and team created. Before taking the Media role, he was the VP Brand Development for Lipton RTDT in North Asia.
