Ching Law – General Manager of Tencent’s Social Ads Department – Tencent
Mr. Ching Law joined Tencent in 2012. He is currently the General Manager of Tencent’s Social Ads Department. Mr. Law insists that marketing should be people-oriented and data should meet users’ needs. Mr. Law was instrumental in founding GDT, the core data technology and traffic management platform for Tencent’s social ads.

Mr. Law is very experienced in the field of digital marketing. Before joining Tencent, Mr. Law served at Google for eight years where he was responsible for research and management of key projects including the AdSense advertising system, the Mandarin – Chinese Google dictionary and Cantonese phonetic transcription.

Mr. Law received his PhD degree in computer science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
