Kim Berger Christensen is the owner of The George, an international agency specializing in relationship marketing with a focus on the digital space. The George has offices in Milan, Barcelona, and Shanghai.
Kim is also the founder of AskCuCu.com, a platform that helps foreign students/interns find housing in China. Prior to this he worked as VP Global Marketing and Communications for Pearson Education LTD in their Retail business unit. At Pearson he was part of the Senior Management team of Wall Street English, a global English language education company. Kim has also served as a consultant to The Carlyle Group while CEO of The Hook Com, an agency he founded in 2004. Kim’s entrepreneurship started in 1989, when he started his first agency, The Herald Group. Combined, The Hook Com and The Herald Group are the most awarded agencies in Italy for Direct Marketing and BTL Creative approach. The Herald Group was sold to the global agency WPP in 1999 in a deal that marked the highest price paid for a private agency by WPP at that time.
