Consumers are changing. They have never had more choice and less time. Social media users are beginning to expect more real-time moment content. Thanks to faster Internet and the ubiquity of smartphones, live video has become a trend on its own, with more apps and platforms offering “live streaming” functionality; even this year’s US Presidential debate was streamed live on Twitter, drawing millions of viewers in. Live is the attention that leads to a connection that builds a business, one customer at a time. Hear from Aliza Knox, Vice President of Asia Pacific at Twitter, on why 2017 will be the year when live video will fully take off, utilised by more brands and individuals than ever
Aliza Knox – VP online sales, Asia Pacific, Americas and Emerging Markets
Aliza is responsible for helping grow Twitter’s advertising business, as well as new channel growth, for example, around Twitter’s self-service advertising platform for small and medium size businesses in APAE. Prior to Twitter, she held leadership positions at Google where, amongst responsibilities for Commerce, Online Sales and Operations across Asia-Pacific, she was responsible for Google’s Women in Leadership programs for the region. She also has over two decades of financial services and international experience.
Aliza holds a BA in Applied Math and Economics (magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Brown University and an MBA degree with distinction from New York University. She is @alizaknox on Twitter.
